Our infant program is based on the RIE philosophy, which encourages each baby to be on their own schedule. RIE fosters basic trust in the child to be an initiator, an explorer and a self-learner. It also has an environment for the child that is physically safe, cognitively challenging, and emotionally nurturing, including time for uninterrupted play. Our babies are an active participant in their care giving. The caregiver follows their cues to meet their needs. Respect plays an important role in the classroom. The caregiver shows each infant respect, for example, by not picking up an infant without telling him or her beforehand, talking directly to the child, and by waiting for the child’s response. The well being of each individual child is the goal of the caregiver as they work as a team with the parents to form a partnership to benefit each family.

We take great pride in providing our children with a healthy, well-balanced and nutritional menu which changes daily. We plan our lunch menu a month at a time, keeping it as seasonal as possible. Our on-site chef prepares daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks for each class, making them nutritious and kid-friendly. For infants, we follow each child's individual feeding schedule and needs as requested by parents.
For more than two decades, happy children have been thriving in our private, non-denominational Christian school. The Children’s Hour Academy was created to be an extension of your loving arms and a part of your child’s foundation for life.
Accelerated Academics
Learning is dynamic, not static…based on each child’s learning style. Our classrooms are small enough to create an environment that facilitates optimal learning for these unique individuals. Fully engaged children learn using all their senses, and this builds excitement, opening up unlimited potential. As a result, advanced children are easily accelerated.
Foreign Language, S.T.E.M., Music, & Sports
Would you like your child to learn Spanish? And while other schools are eliminating programs in the arts, our commitment to a fully rounded education remains strong. Children love our music sessions and, in addition to gym classes, can choose to enjoy soccer, dance, or yoga.
The Children’s Hour Academy makes learning a natural and fun process that involves the mental, physical, spiritual and behavioral processes of every priceless student.
Small Class Sizes
Low teacher/student ratios and small classroom sizes ensure that your child never gets lost in the crowd. And it gives us the freedom to understand each child’s learning style and personality.
Values-Based Education
We teach children that they are unique gifts of God, created for a special purpose. If they take one lesson from our school and apply it to the good of others, then we have been successful teachers.
